These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the HiddenFace application ("Application" or "App") created by David Collado Sela ("Service Provider", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HiddenFace, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Application.
2. Description of Service
HiddenFace is a photo editing application that uses artificial intelligence to detect faces in photographs and allows users to apply blur effects or emoji covers to protect privacy before sharing images. All processing occurs locally on your device.
3. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Application on iOS devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.
4. In-App Purchases
The Application offers optional in-app purchases to unlock premium features. These purchases are:
- One-time purchases, not subscriptions
- Processed through Apple's App Store
- Subject to Apple's terms and refund policies
- Non-transferable between accounts
For refund requests, please contact Apple Support as all transactions are handled through their platform.
5. User Responsibilities
When using HiddenFace, you agree to:
- Use the Application only for lawful purposes
- Not use the Application to infringe on others' rights
- Ensure you have the right to edit and share photos you process
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding photography and privacy
- Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application
6. Intellectual Property
The Application, including its design, features, and code, is the intellectual property of the Service Provider and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Application.
7. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information. In summary: your photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties that the Application will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Warranties regarding the accuracy of face detection
Face detection technology may not identify all faces in every image. Users should verify results before sharing protected images.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, privacy breaches resulting from user error, or any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Application.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Application or violation of these Terms.
11. Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use this Application. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use the Application and make any purchases.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Application at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
